This photo was taken when I was a little girl around four years old. It has numerous meanings to me as I was adopted at birth and have lived in Arkansas, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, and now back home in Texas.

FLOWER OF LIFE
Feel the goodness in all forms of life
Love all things; let go of strife
Open your petals. Let love flow in
Widen the gap; let love grow within
Erase the scars of the past
Rest in the assurance that only love last
Own your self-worth in spite of
what others may say
Find again the peace in your day
Live you potential; let the world know
