He looks like either a tough cookie or a really nice guy. He is scaring so intently. The vintage pp is wonderful. You do a great job on tearing. I'm not very good at that and am always in awe of someone that can.
Awesome pictures and wonderful layout. I wonder where are you finding your family pictures? I found few more distant cousins pictures on ancestry. It cool to find people who were first, second or third cousins to your ancestor. I often wonder if my ancestors knew them or did they lose touch with their families back in the day. Keep up the good work. I just got a cuttlebug and hope to buy some tag dies. So I can type the names and print them out. Then cut it down to size to fit my die and run it through the cuttlebug. To make a tag like you do in most of your layouts.
I so agree with you about this photo - it's beyond cool!!!! I love the way that you've scrapped it, with the layers of torn paper and the bits of clock top and bottom!!!
This is such a cool photo, I love it. He was a 1st cousin to me, 4x Removed (4 generations). He ranked out of the 1st Tenn Regiment Union Army as a Corporal.
The photo sort of makes me laugh. He is staring at the camera so intently so he doesn't blink! You can tell his eyes are light blue.
