By the time you found how to get on, it sounds like you could have walked around the whole city yourself. :) I like that you included an image of the ticket too. Interesting that it actually depicts the cow bus itself.
What a crazy looking bus. It is a moo-ver! What an experience to just get on the bus. Sometimes it is difficult to find the right spot to pick one up. they don't always mark them where you can find the stop. Glad you found it and could enjoy a rest while looking at a beautiful city.
I was waiting he said we would take a tour now because at 5:00 we were going meet Fernando when he got off work. He was going to take us to his house to see his license plate collection.
There was a green bus running around town that was painted like a cow and had an open top deck so this became our plan.
It was a challenge finding where to get on the bus. People said they thought the stop was just before the old fortress so we made the long walk to the fortress gates.
Once we got there we found where the stop used to be - it had been moved! Right next to the dock where we started! So we walked all the way back to the ship.
Still, no bus stop or ticket booth. We asked around some more. We had seen the bus on the streets so we knew it had to stop somewhere!
Then we were told it was on the other side of the old fortress. I certainly got in plenty of walking! And it felt very good to sit down on the bus for the 45 minute loop around the city.
In the picture on the upper left you can see John and Joanne upstairs in the front row! Bill and I were sitting further back on the bus.
