Amen! It burns me up to know there are men and women who have served to keep our country safe and we don't do a darn thing to help them! And there is NO excuse for children being homeless! Thank You and your hubby for thinking of the homeless! God will bless both of you!

Crazy...the amount of tins of sweets we had in the house this past holiday season. Well, today we wrapped up all the sweets, added some protein and made a huge shopping bag for the group of homeless dh sees most days in NYC while at work. I can't imagine how they survive NYC winters. And most are scared to stay at the shelters due to the violence and mental issues of some. It's a very sad to think we can help so many countries in need and our own are living in the streets. And it's been shown that many who are on the streets are former military!!!! It breaks my heart.
