BIll's Wallet - Page 39 Volume Challenge

September 30th – We got a big surprise in the mail today! Bill's wallet, which he left in the men's room at the McDonalds across from the train station in Vienna, was delivered to us along with the rest of our mail. The small amount of cash, Bill's driver's license and my military dependent ID card were missing but all the credit cards were intact. (Bill had cancelled them minute he noticed they were missing.)

Even though everything important had been replaced, he was glad to get his wallet back. Oddly though, there was a lot of dead grass inside the fold, as if someone took it, removed a few things, and threw it into a grassy field where it probably stayed for a while. Then it appears someone found it, turned it over to the Vienna police who then took it to the American Embassy in Vienna and they forwarded it to the Embassy in Washington and from there it was forwarded to us. If this wallet could talk I would love to hear the stories it could tell after being missing for over 4 months! I think Bill's wallet must have really had an adventure!!
