FABULOUS lo - full of so many wonderful details/embellishments. I love the stamped verse/quote together with the key - it's perfect. You've created a perfect lo in which to showcase the great photo of your handsome son.
A fabulous masculine page of wonderful embellishing with all the gorgeous details .Amazing work that frames the beautiful photo perfectly. Absolutely love it.
This is absolutely incredible. I find myself just studying every little inch of this layout. Your son is such a handsome young man. This layout is a beautiful extension of his interests and personality. Fabulous job.
Well gf, you have done it again! You cease to amaze me with your beautiful creations. I love the vine entwined throughout the lo, great touch! Love how you framed that oh so handsome son of yours! All your embellies you used, still looking over them & your choice of papers, very masculine & earthy tones. As always, another "out of the park" lo!:)
Came back to look at this AWESOME layout again! Masculine & boy pages aren't easy to make. You did a perfect job on this one. I would put into my favorites again, if I could. lol. . . . . .
I bet I have been staring at your LO for ten minutes. There is so many thing I love about it. The metal word piece with the tassels is brilliant. I have those and now, I'm off to the tassel store. LOL! The scrolled pieces beside the photo are gorgeous. Good grief...you are so talented. TFS!
Absolutely gorgeous!! Love this so much Elizabeth!! Love all your layers, stamping, inking and all your amazing embellishments you lovingly placed on this creative layout!! :) FAV!!
Happy Easter everyone! This is my youngest, who happens to be a great photographer too! He took the photograph that is featured on my Iron Goat Trail Snow Shed layout that I posted last month. He is an avid train enthusiast and photographer. One of his pictures of a BNSF train is featured in this year's Cashmere Valley Bank calendar! This is my favorite of his senior pictures that I took for his graduation in 2013.
This layout came out nothing like my original plan but that seems to be the norm for me! I had planned to do several layers using torn paper but I was just too scared to tear the paper! LOL Anyway, I am pleased with the final product.
I used TH Pumice Stone to ink all the edges of my papers first. The lovely, dainty scrolls on either side of the photo were from the sweet Amy Voorthuis (thank you Amy)! The butterflies are pictures of the real thing that I printed out from my Print Shop program and fussycut. The clock printables came from Pinterest. The leaf vine was from a local store called Pickled Papers. I love that stuff and used all I had to finish this layout! The hanging clock, clock under the word band, tassles, elegant tag and verse at the top were from Hobby Lobby as well as the Dreams key. On the tag I stamped the verse and then used Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder but I had forgotten I used TH Pumice Stone around the edges and part of the tag so it embossed the whole thing. So, I re-stamped it onto a scrap of paper, embossed and then fussy cut it out and placed it over the original stamping to cover my boo-boo! I actually like it better now! :-) Under the ornate plate I stamp embossed the word "inspire". It's a little difficult to see in this picture. The phrase under the picture is stamped with TH Black Soot and then immediately used clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.
Other items not listed on site:
