He was a large male who was already lying down. I was uncomfortable when the tiger looked at me and gave me the once over, like he had to approve of me. Then when I sat down and start petting him he loved it and wanted to go to sleep. They are like giant housecats – when you pet them they close their eyes and want to go to sleep. We spent at least 10 minutes with this one also. Then we were each instructed to take his tail and hold it over our upper lips like a mustache - I can't believe I really did that!
I've heard of having a tiger by the tail but we really had a tiger by the tail! They also took pictures with each of us separately and plenty of pictures of us together with this one.
(Not in journaling) - We were not allowed to touch the front feet but they told Bill he could look at one of the back feet - the tiger wouldn't care so Bill picked up one of his back feet and checked it out.)
