After that we jumped back on the tube to the Thames River where we boarded a sightseeing boat. It was awesome riding on the Thames – we had such a good view of Big Ben and the Tower of London as well as other iconic historical sites in London. We had our picture taken with the Tower Bridge in the background.

Although it never rained on us, the sky was gray and cloudy. It appeared it could have gotten ugly at any time during the afternoon but fortunately, the weather was better than it looked!
