Homeschool is wonderful. She was out of school for 2 weeks after 4th grade, and instead of being bored for a full summer, mom decided to start 5th grade with her!! She'll still have summer vacation, but it will be interspersed with days of school so when fall gets here, she starts out with a month of school already!! That enables a few "school" days in the fall and winter to be "play" days instead. It works!!
