Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014 – Today we had a private tour scheduled through another member of Cruise Critic. The ships tour was over $100 and this tour went to the same places for $30 each. Even though our last choice of travel is on a tour bus (we hate going on big tour buses), today it was the best option.

After a 2 hour drive (and a nice nap for Bill and me as we drove through the countryside) we arrived at the Cliffs of Moher. That was worth the long drive – it was so picturesque. I wasn't aware until we got there that this was the location for some of the filming for the Harry Potter movie, “Half-Blood Prince.” There are quite a few other movies which were also filmed at this dramatic location.
