I've been living in South Africa most of my life, and it's taken me 41 years to say "I've been to Table Mountain"! I did this double layout using a kit (Celebr8 - they have awesome scrapping goodies!) which I got at my local scrapbooking store. I altered it a bit to match my photos, but really had fun doing this one! We were so fortunate to have lovely weather on the day we went up Table Mountain in the cable car. For interest sake, the "photo" at the bottom (left page), is actually a postcard (unfortunately I don't take such awesome photos yet!), and the little animal in the middle photo is a "Dassie" (looks almost like a giant hamster to me), and somehow is related to the elephant! The coin on the right page is a souvenir that I bought at the little curio "Shop at the Top", which says Cape Town Table Mountain since 1929 (how long the cable car has been operating). The booklet on the right has a brochure of Table Mountain and our cable car tickets.
