Welcome to “Bear Corner”. This little nook next to the bathroom door was where all the little bears and a few other special critters were sent when they were retired from the kids' nurseries. There were at least 30 little bears residing here when Benjamin came to visit, along with his favorite bear… a panda he named “Plumps”. There were bears of all kinds and sizes. Some were stuffed, some were cross-stitched, some were figurines, some were on frames… there was even some cut from paper and some in the form of candles. We enjoyed having “Bear Corner” for many years and finally packed it away to save for future generations just a couple of years ago.
