Journaling: On this day, we took a ride up Kalama River to see what we could see. A favorite for fishermen and adventurers, we felt secure in our outing. I'd been on mountain outings before, so i wasn't surprised about the sharp drop-offs and narrow roads, however, when Dan stopped at the boat ramp, I was surprised at what was available. Sweet tasting blackberries for the picking! As many as you liked! They were juicy and easy to pick. He seemed surprised at my surprise. It was a delicious brunch. As i came to find, camping, eating wild food, and finding a place to lite for awhile are easier that i thought it could be.
