Before we decided to go hiking in Denver we decided to drive up one of the mountains and enjoy the view. Plus we wanted to see how DD would do with heights and elevation and a different terrain [than flat ground]. She did great and we all enjoyed the GORGEOUS scene. There were some people waaayyy out on the rocks near the edge (seeking "higher" elevation), and although terrifying to me I can imagine how wonderful it would be to sit on the rocks, totally "relaxed" and enjoy looking out for miles and watching the sky change for hours. But I have a 4 year old so that's NEVER gonna happen. haha!

OK So I had a very specific idea I wanted for these pictures. but when I printed them both as 4x6 it was too much on the page. So I printed one of them as a 5x7, but one picture wasn't enough. I tried printing it in B&W...nope! Luckily I finally got the idea to do these two 3x4's and it fit right. Then I cut out the states and tossed the BG only to discover I really wanted the BG!! I knew I wanted to do this color explosion behind it, but it was too striking against any other BG. So I finally re-ordered the paper, inked it, and then threw the original 48 states cut out over the top of it. Dressed it up and wha-la! I love it!!I hope you do too. TFL
