Calendar - June and August

I did a 2 page spread for my 2017 calendar. I hope to get it done before January is over. Time is ticking away fast. I am used to 12 x 12 paper but the pages for the calendar only allow me to do a 9 1/2" tall by 10 wide layout. Almost everything I use is from a kit swap I used to do here on SB.C but it was about 2 1/2 years ago and I have no idea who I got this kit from. She did an excellent job and it's very pretty, so if you are the person. I'd love to give credit and praise. In my calendar it will be for the June and August months. It's the kind to hang on the wall. I wanted to do Independence Day theme for July. So anyhow, here is my take on the January 2 page sketch. Thanks for looking.
