There was a really large tray for the McD workers & this was a tray for our table. The new recipe this time was "You're Kidding Me Cake" This was BEYOND simple & delicious! You can use any combo you want for mix & can pie filling. Moist, dense & delicious. Most my recipes are simple because I can barely stand or walk anymore so has to be fast & easy. All 3 are really simple!
YOU'RE KIDDING ME CAKE: Recipe. beat 3 eggs, stir in any flavor 20 oz. can pie filling. Stir & toss in dry any flavor cake mix. STIR well & pour in greased 13" x 9" pan & bake 350o for 32 min. I used cherry pie filling & yellow cake mix. This was so easy so moist & wonderful. "BAR COOKIES FROM CAKE MIX" http://allrecipes.com/recipe/16496/bar-cookies-from-cake-mix/ They were excellent. The only 2 things different: used a yellow cake mix & add (as others suggested,) more water EXCEPT I added 2 T. extra water & 1 T. corn syrup. Chewy moist & perfect. A Keeper! Bake only 22 min. until light golden brown on edges.
