Christmas dinner at grandma's house in 1959. Her house was so old fashioned that there was even a working wooden wall phone which can be seen in the upper right side of the photo. The lacy card above the photo journals the names of the people seated around the table and other details about the day and location. I liked that the Graphics 45 woman peeling an apple had a certain similarity to my aunts sitting with their own aprons on. I had a few classic Santa ephemera figures to chose from and selected the one who looked the most like my grandfather and father, as I have a memory from the same era of my father missing out on seeing Santa when he arrived to pass out gifts and bags of candy to all of the children.
