Love the pictures and papers! I got pictures of a calliope on the nest in our basswood tree a few years ago, as well as her babies! Too high up to look down in the nest!

I am also in love with humming birds and we put out six humming bird feeders in the spring thru fall. They also love the nectar from our per perennial flowers on our property. I live in Southern WI. I love your layout of the nests they are so tiny.

Love your journaling on this! We have several ruby throated hummingbirds that feed at our nectar feeders and build nests in a river birch tree near the feeders, but I've never been able to get such good photos of them.

For the 2nd year in a row a hummingbird has nested in our backyard. It is literally a miracle to watch this wonder of nature build her nest and take care of the babies.
