Awesome! Another favorite! I have a picture of my yellow convertible and I stuck a lil picture of me behind the wheel. Bought it brand new off the lot, zero miles on it. Josh was 10 years when signed the papers. I told him that if he keeps doing good, then when grandma joyce
gets old and decrepit Grandpa & grandma joyce will give you this car.But you have to behave. Oh so awesome. Everything worked out, with God's hands. After several back surgeries and knee surgeries, I knew it was time. My mustang was paid for, free and clear 1999. There is so much more to this true story, if you are interested send me a test or emal.
Love this! Gorgeous masculine image and love the sentiment. Perfect. What an angel you are to have stepped in for another. Glad to hear that the surgery went well and he is on the road to recovery. Loved the story behind this card as well. Wonderful design!
This is brilliant! I love the sentiment you put in the inside. It couldn't be more perfect to go with this awesome masculine image. I struggle with masculine cards and agree that you can never have too much stuff to make the process of making them easier. Terrific job! How sweet of you to help out your fellow angel, but I would expect nothing less. I know what a big and kind heart you have :)
What a cool guy card!! Youve been extra stressed lately Kathy, your time alone wandering the stores wasnt a waste. Having found the stuff you found is proof that you were meant to take time off from your "to do list" :o)Ro
So at the end of February I spent one of my days off wasting it...which I don't do often or very well. I'm one that has to check things off the To-Do list and with an every growing To-Do list there is no time for "wasting time". But I had to go to JCPenny for some new clothes..after washing a load with some gum that was left in a pocket...not a good combination! Since Hobby Lobby was right there I went in to see if I "needed" anything! I don't need a thing but I was browsing I saw some things on sale that could have potential so I bought them. I didn't stop there went on to Michael's and Kohl's. Bought stuff that appealed to me not because I needed them...don't do that often either! So of course when I get home I'm regretting that nothing on my to-do list got done and I added more stuff to my craft room when my goal is to USE IT UP! (which I can't possible do in my life time!!)
As I'm on the computer I get a message from one of the ladies in the Angel Card Swap. She had a terrible February and was feeling overwhelmed. I told her not to worry about making her Angel Card that I would step in and make it for her. Her recipient was a man that had bypass surgery in January and did very well through it. He is still on the road to recovery but is doing well. His Angel wanted him to know he was being thought of during his recovery.
So remember my wasted trips to the craft stores? Ended up not being wasted!! One of the sale packs I bought at Hobby Lobby was a masculine set of pocket cards...cause you always need stuff for men cards!! I went looking and found this PERFECT image! This card is the image on some cardstock...I usually like to add a little more but the image says it all and I didn't want to take from it. Inside says: Heard your tune-up went well and you're back on the road. Hope your road to a complete recovery is a smooth ride.
