Great pictures of the rapids - looks like it would be fun! Love the blue woodgrain paper (I think I still have some of that too). It works well with these photos!
Those photos are spectacular! You did a wonderful job capturing the essence of the area. That blue wood background is terrific the darker punched boarder really mad the pics standout.
I love how you brought the blue from your photos into your paper selection - really gives a cohesive feel to the layout. That punched border is really pretty, too!
Love the blue wood-looking background paper - feels so outdoorsy! You got fancy with the layering on this one and the results are perfect. How cool for the holes in the punch to show through on the blue and have the red centers! The rapids are beautiful, but if Tom wants to raft in them - more power to him. I was in much milder ones and my back couldn't take the jolts. And my sitting area did not like all the bruises from going over tall rocks in the water. Your little red flowers with the white centers are cute too. Very well done - wonderful layout and great photos!
Our next stop was the Big Eddy Day Use Area. The hike by the Deschutes River was cool, beautiful, and quite a contrast. The river started out smooth as glass and then, a series of rapids. We took a break and watched rafters go down the rapids. Oh great, DH wants to try it!
Thank you so much for your visit. I'm so honored.
