What a tremendously kind, thoughtful way to brighten someone's life. I'm sure that she'll adore this stunning card - who on earth wouldn't? It's breathtaking!
Oh be still my heart!! Rob this is so gorgeous & love how you used the G45 papers. The iris fold for the seahorse is stunning. I have never tried these folds, but you made it look so lovely. Glad you used the cheese cloth instead of burlap as it looks more like fish netting. Your layers & verse at the bottom meld together perfectly. This lady that you are reaching out to will be so blessed by your kind gesture & will treasure this beauty always! Did I happen to say that I LOVE this creation??:))))
I did this for a woman I've actual never met. She is very shy and has no friends. So I thought perhaps she could use a friendly hello. I made this for her because I found out how much she loved the ocean. I had just bought the Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea 8x8 pack and though it was perfect. I cut the pieces and realize that I had made a major rookie mistake by placing all of the decorative papers side by side without using any solids. However I solved this issue using mounting tape with each layer. I ended up using cheese cloth instead of burlap as originally intended and am very happy with the results. This was my first iris fold design. The iris fold was done with the Cricut pearl paper. The message in the bottle doesn't show real well but reads adventure. The bottle also has some sand in it. Thanks for looking.
