This is a wall hanging I altered for my sister for her 70th birthday coming up. It will go along with that shoe card I made for her. Our local Craft Warehouse closed its doors last night and for several weeks I've bought a lot of stuff as their sale prices kept getting better. This wooden plaque cost me only $2.10!

I painted matte Mod Podge on it to add my Tim Holtz Wallflower paper to it. I inked around the edges with TH Vintage Photo. Then I used my brand new Gabrielle Pollacco stencil Mini Moving Vines using homemade texture paste. When it dried I then rubbed Dew Drop Spanish Olive chalk ink pad over them all. The letters were originally white so I rubbed Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain over them and added Liquid Pearls in Bisque.

All of the butterflies are pictures of the real thing that I printed out using my Print Shop program and fussy cut them out. The round frame under the large butterfly is Jolee's Boutique Deco Frames. The stamps in the lower corner are Autumn Leaves Frolic.

And yes, Marylou, the tulle that I used as a hanger is what you wrapped my very first pocket letter in!! :-)
