We found an upscale hamburger café that was serving food during siesta. We were so lucky to find this place because they take siesta very seriously in Spain!
We ate on the patio that overlooked the beach and had a wonderful sea breeze! We could smell the salty ocean – what a perfect place to eat and enjoy watching the activity on the beach. Even though a hamburger wasn't even close to what I had in mind, this one was quite good!
After driving around and taking a few pictures, we were both tired and went back to our room on base. A couple of hours out-and-about were all we could stay awake for! This will be our second night here so hopefully by tomorrow morning, the jet lag will be under control for both of us and we can start driving to Barcelona!
NOTE: In the center picture below, a patio is to the left of the two women. That is the patio we sat on where we enjoyed our hamburgers.
