Oh my...this is so beautiful. the one thing I noticed the most was the words in black. On the pretty pink patterned paper, they just jump off the page. She is so adorable and tiny!
Darling!!! I love the flowers, they are so tiny and perfect for a baby layout. You are doing a great job trying new things. I love how you added the pink paint to the modeling paste. I have to remember that!
The photo is of Cara as a newborn, she was 5 pounds 10 ounces. Itty bitty! I used a Plaid Folk Ark stencil called Cross Stitch from the paint dept in Ms. Much less expensive than the scrapbook ones. I used modelling paste and mixed in some Apple Barrel Valentine Pink Acrylic paint then spread it on the page. I used real thin cardstock and no gesso with no warping. I love this technique. Its so much fun and looks great while adding dimension to the page. The layers are from DCWV Nana's Nursery which I have had for ages. The felt flowers I've also had for ages. The black title and phrases and bear are Silhouette cuts. The black dots are gems I've had for ages also. Using up older stuff is good! Adding it with newer techniques makes it seem more relevant somehow. Maybe its just me that sees it that way...
