This is a graduation card I made for the son of a "friend" of mine. I mostly lifted the idea from the card found at this link: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2210449
The date and the banner were cut with my die cutting machine. I used the old Serif Originals numbers from Sizzix and the Nested Banners from Taylored Expressions. I did decide to stamp stars in various places on the card and even on the back of the envelope. I also stamped the sentiment twice. I did it once with dye ink in blue and then again in Versamark and heat embossed it with a clear sparkle embossing powder by PSX.
For NSD Hoarders Special Challenge, I created this card with the old Sizzix numerals that I too often ignore. I also made good use the Leave it to Weaver border punch (which is also often a dust collector otherwise). I didn't answer the TWIST question about my passion directly on this. I couldn't. My passion is to create personalized projects (cards, LO's or even albums) to give to specific recipients to create the human touch and share my talent so that I create a better moment for the recipient. This card was designed with a specific recipient in mind.
