Absolutely stunning and oh, so vintage, Elizabeth! Your use of lace, die cuts and a beautiful vintage color scheme make this perfect for the July Vintage Tag Swap! Love, love, love!!!
So, I just read what you said above and it mentioned that you had a craft warehouse? Is all that what taught to re-purpose things as well as you do? I had a craft store when I lived right in the nick of the road between Oregon & California. I miss that shop. It was named, get this, "Joyce's Red Balloon"! Go figure, right? I love this tag oh man I can't stop looking at it. I am so glad I didn't miss this page. Wowser!
Wow, this is beyond gorgeous! I love those gorgeous curly-que edges. Tissue boxes?...who would guess. Love the dyed seam binding and the dainty image. That butterfly and your lovely flowers and lace really make this amazing. You do such detailed and lovely work.
Absolutely stunning, just breathtaking !!! Love the papers, a FAV of mine too, love the creative use of your die cuts too, I have both of these and never thought to use them this way. Love that you included your mom's seem binding, so special, and who doesn't LOVE Gabi's stamps! Love the soft cheese cloth you used, the beautiful framed image, gosh, just drooling all over it! Beautifully done and Carrie must be so thrilled to get it!
Simply gorgeous in every way. I have that paper pack and adore it but haven't found anything to warrant using it. Love the image beautiful lace design and the amazing butterfly.
Our dumb internet service didn't save this last night so now I have to do it all over again! This is the tag I made for Carrie for the June Swap.
I just LOVE the Prima Tales of You and Me Paper Collection that I used for the tag. The image is from Pinterest.
I used a tissue box for the pretty die cuts at the top. The stamps I used are Gabi's Postcard from Paris stamps...so elegant! The bow is made from rayon seam binding that was my mom's in the original packaging for $.25!! I used TH Spun Sugar and Tea Dye to color it up. The butterfly was on a pronged fork that I cut off and got from our now closed Craft Warehouse. The beautiful floral trim at the bottom is from my best friend and the lace and pearl flower at the top from Pamela Joy's Boutique on FB. Can't remember where I got the frame from. The glitter glass was from the now closed Gone Artsy.
