This reminds me of when my older kids were little. We use to do the same thing at Christmas time and Mother's day. They would sing and those who played would play. This is why I LOVE big families this is what it is all about. Having cousins is so special. Now to the LO> I LOVE the colors, the design is great.
Wonderful concert gathering. Beautiful group photo of such a group of talented musicians. I am so happy to see so many young children learning to express themselves thru music. I like the vast assortment of instruments. This must have been a beautiful sight to see. (I played music for many years, this was an expression of my inner self and savior)
This page makes my heart happy! I love seeing all the fun things you do at cousin camp. These are memories that your whole family will cherish for years to come. What a fun candid shot! That you matted it on musical paper was a brilliant idea. The punched edges to the matting are lovely. I LOVE the heart print background. Your title is perfect, as always. The journaling card complements not only the colors but the theme magnificently. The music notes and flowers are such pretty touches. You did a wonderful job on this page. Your grandchildren will surely enjoy seeing it and reliving this special time when they come for this year's cousin camp.
What a great idea! Nylene, you family sounds so close and like all of you have so much fun together! You also have the best ideas to occupy and entertain the kids! The page is really pretty - I love the musical notes papers and the punchwork. Lovely flowers too! Love the way you kind of tuck the flowers sometimes - like behind the "cousins concert" banner and behind the flourish at the bottom.
I wanna come to Cousin Camp! You guys plan such fun things to do-I would have to play a tin can with a stick! I am really loving this page! I love the bg paper with the orange hearts and how you used a border punch and it gives you automatic orange polka dots! the flourished musical staff and notes you have tucked in with flowers. I will save the rest for refugees!
Personally, I think it's a great photo! The music die-cuts are terrific here, and I love the bright colors in the papers you chose. They give off a very happy vibe.
At our last Cousin Camp we tried something new. Each person brought their musical instruments and we had a talent show. It was so much fun, we did it again on Thanksgiving for their parents.
For Hoarders: The flowers are old Martha Stewart and the papers are older AC collections. Used the old Fiskars Threading Water punch on the thrift store music paper.
