Journaling: September 2017, less than a year after Dan and Marguerite retired to beautiful St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, not 1, but 2 category 5 hurricanes struck the island leaving devastation in their wake. Dan and Marguerite have survived both Irma and Maria, and even a brush with Jose, the category 3 that struck between the two monster storms. But they are left with a devastated home, no electricity, and no clean drinking water. Only a few have cell service, and they are not among them. All we can do is wait...
