Gorgeous!! Sweet memorable first page. Love your beautiful design, the pretty balloon, flowers and details. Soon coming up on a year Mom passed and i still struggle with losing her. I know where she is at, it's just living without her that's so hard. I am glad you have found some peace. Hugs!!
Sending hugs your way, my friend. I absolutely LOVE the first page of your dad's album. I love the entire page and especially the wonderful photo of him. I will keep you in my prayers.
This is so lovely and a perfect start to your album I too look forward to seeing your album evolve. What a personal and treasured gift to self. Love the colours. Rich and strong like your dad.
This is a wonderful beginning to the album about your beloved dad....I understand about how long it took to stat, I lost my brother, 46 ,14 yrs ago, his twins were not quite 12, they just turned 26...It took me a couple of years to start and then I could only work on it when I was out scrapbooking...The 2 almost identical books, took 5 years to create but I am so happy I did them for the boys, it really tells the story and lets them know him......best wishes, I know it will be beautiful, look forward to seeing the pages evolve, your doing a beautiful project......thanks for sharing your first page in this challenge!
What a wonderful photo and a perfect way to start the heritage album. This lo is absolutely stunning. I am hoping your sadness and heavy heart are replaced with sweet memories that make you smile and bring you joy as you continue to "build" the album.
I'm so glad you are able to find peace enough to scrap such a beautiful tribute to your dad. This picture is stunning- as is the page you created for him!! Love this!!
Stunning page....what a handsome dad!!! Love the vivid colors (they're mine you know :) Wonderful tribute and I look forward to seeing more pages as you create!!!!
Dawna, this is absolutely beautiful. What a wonderful tribute. I don't know how you did it. I'd be bawling my eyes out the whole time I created it if that was my dad.
Many of my sb friends know that I lost my dad a few years ago after a long battle with illness. I have finely found peace with his passing and want to create a heritage album of him. So today I'm sharing my first layout. I love this picture of him and his half crocked smile. Melts my heart and makes me smile ever time I look at it. Thanks for dropping by, your visits are so much appreciated. ` hugs
