Journaling:
Our last day in Kruger this year & we were on our way back to Ngwenya. On the bridge below Gezamtombi Dam, a number of vehicles were parked watching sleepy lions. We had had amazing lion sightings so went on. Just past the road to the dam, we saw a herd of buffalo headed for the dam. We then did a very rapid U-turn & up to the dam. We had just parked when the buffalo came over the hill. The lions came out of hiding, in hot pursuit. Adrenalin rushing, Ray got some slightly blurry shots, but they will forever be an amazing memory!
Yes, after taking the pics the lions & buffalo disappeared from sight & talking with folk later it appeared that the buffalo escaped to live another day!
