Oldest gd Devan called a few days ago and I answered which I rarely do and she tells me grandma I am moving to Huntington Beach next Tuesday! I immediately start crying and hand hubby Grant the phone and he asked her did you tell your grandma you were moving to Russia? Very funny, not! We are actually less than 400 miles from her as we are in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a new job working in her field as a Physical Therapist and Kyle, her boyfriend is an EMT who is originally from SoCal that Devan met at U. C. Davis. So we had dinner (pizza) at our house Sunday night and she showed us the apartment they were moving to, including the floor plan, indoor laundry,pool and everything plus it is gated. Nothing like when we started out.

I noted where she said they had shopped to get ready for the move so bought two generous gift cards and realized I needed some way to present them. Looked at Youtube and saw this way over the top version of a gift card holder and want to credit Dreamz EtCetera. So I made my own version. It starts with a brown lunch bag, covered with Anna Griffin pp and looked for things I could add to it. I stapled the lower half which has the pocket to put the gift cards in. Cut the pp too narrow at bottom and used stick on yellow Prima ribbon that I have had forever to cover it up. Just pulled things from my pink stash after that and had fun with it. Took it over last night and it was a big hit. I will try it again kind of looking at my stash in the meantime thinking what I might make for next time. So many possibilities! Thanks for looking.
