This is a collage of pics taken in the early '90's of a family gathering. The journaling reads: As a youngster, I remember these trips to North Platte over Memorial Day. Each year Gramma would pack her peonies in damp newspapers and we would hop the "Milk Train" out to North Platte, a mere 7 hour ride stopping at every depot along the way. There her family would gather and lay the flowers on the family graves. What a trek this would be-Gramma with 3 grand kids under the age of 8, along with baggage and 4 boxes of fresh flowers, out of her garden. What a tribute to Family. This is Memorial Day 1992, North Platte Family.
As I finished this LO I realized that only one of my Gramma's sisters is still with us today.
