Give a Cheer

I wanted a card box to be able to hold a set of 5x7 cards and envelopes. I didn't think the original design would quite work with the lid, so I altered the pattern slightly and made the red box first, and it worked great. Then I decided to make the card box proper, and found that it also worked, but I had to be careful with the envelopes and make sure they are put in the back of the box carefully to ensure the lid would work properly. All in all, I love it! Now, to embellish them. Planning nautical for the flip lid (green and blue and gold box) and hand crocheted lace and flowers for the one with birds.
