I tried to play with some different techniques for this layout, including the use of punches and tearing. I had tried tearing once before and ultimately hated it because it just made a mess of the paper. This time I used the We R Memory Keepers tear guide tool, and oh my goodness it works so great! I was so impressed by how easy it made the tearing go. The dad paper was really old and I have no idea who made it to be completely honest. I bought the "Daddy's girl" text file from Etsy then sliced it into a heart on the Cricut Design app. I also cut the journaling block out of a journaling card page.
This layout is really just a love note to my dad. He's been such a huge part of my life, and he really is one of my best friends (second only to my husband now!) so I wanted to really honor him throughout the different phases of my life. I will always be a "Daddy's Girl"!
