Navy Point is a small village on Maryland's Eastern Shore in St. Michaels. It was once a hub of seafood packing houses, docks, and workboats. Today, it’s the site of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, an 18-acre campus with a day’s worth of activities and points of interest. This the working shipyard, where they restore and build replica ships. The current project is the Maryland Dove, a replica of the 1634 original. When complete, it will be an on-site and traveling exhibit for the historic St. Mary’s City (the site of the first arrival of the original Maryland Dove).
