The handwritten journaling says: "Jan. 13th Otterville Missouri All schools were out for the whole week. We had 18 inches of snow 8 days before but this ice storm shut down the entire state! Missouri was declared a disaster area. Thankfully we never lost power. We had to suffer through 36 hours without DSL but we had heat! Thousands didn't. We slipped, we slid...we fell. We played, we dug ourselves out, we went back to work...And prayed for Spring to come.
The journaling on each side of the tag says: 12 Wind Chill -4 High -6 Wind Chill -14 Low
