I have not worked with a large photo in ages and when I was about to print this one (taken in Germany the day before we returned home) I felt that it deserved a bigger format.

I love the large Basic Grey alphas but have long since used them all up. I did keep the sheets and created vellum outlines so I can recreate each letter. This is what I did here. I used white cardstock and my distress oxides to colour them. I also tried my new die and stamp set called Dance In The Rain (by Sheena Douglass) to create my own ephemera. The background and fussy cut leaves are all papers from the Altenew Alluring Blooms 6x6 collection. The broad brushstrokes and moody colours seem to go very well with the photo.
