I was sitting here laughing at the layout and photo and then read the description....awww what a way to find out about a new one on the way....one you'll never forget, now how are you going to do a layout of that?
How innovative....a new aspect of body painting. Love the idea of little Nathan also with a painted tummy. LOL Great journaling; a keepsake, for sure. God bless Easter eggs...of all types and shapes, and God bless Pam and Abby and Grandma.
Wow, a picture of me 8.5 months pregnant in a bikini.. Not something everyone can claim they have posted somewhere on the internet :)
Humm, I guess next baby will have to be a pumpkin too huh mom :) OH, or a cornucopia :)
Pam
Soooo cute! What an amazing job Ted did with the painting of the egg and you've done with this LO! I love all the embellishments you've used and you're journaling is so fun!!
He he he he he he he he he . . . . . . . . . not finished yet . . . .he he he he he he he he. Love this one - can't believe you knocked off another challenge so fast!
That is so funny!!! I didn't even realise until I read the journaling.....fabulous photo!! I love how you've set this out, you've used the kits beautifully. ACE work on the challenge!!!!
OH WOW! I can't believe you finished this so quickly.....but OMgoodness, what an awesome lo. I just love everything to do with this...the pic is amazing, I had to look several times and still it looks like an egg, Ted is a great artist. The journalling was perfect, a great story to look back on in the future. Love how you used the kit. Wonderful work Helen. Your amazing!
My entry into the DSG Easter Challenge. Journaling reads: "Happy Easter my darling daughter Pamela. Easter was never much of an event in our house as you grew up, but you sure have made up for that as an adult! When I first saw this photograph, I was sure that with the end of your pregnancy nearing, and your being diabetic, that you were going to "pig out" on chocolate as soon as you delivered. Then I took a closer look at that egg! And to my surprise discovered that your dear husband Ted had gotten artistic on your swollen belly! That is body painting at it's finest. That's no egg....that's ABBY! " The little white bunny is actually part of the photo as I received it. Done by SIL Ted....so he does clever artistic things besides body painting. (About 1 1/2 years later I got a photo with Abby sitting beside her Mom, with Mom holding another painted belly...this time it was Nathan disguised as a pumpkin! ) UPDATE APRIL 5th. If you check out the comments below, you will see that my daughter Pam (Nateymonster)makes a comment on this...and tells me in her comment, in a very subtle way...that there will be a new baby just after Thanksgiving this year! What a way for Nana to find out...in a comment on sb.com!!!
