This LO is about our participation in Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation Winter Games.

It is one of those LOs that is very difficult to photograph. Everything is shiny and therefore very reflective, from the background patterned card stock, to the pleated cellophane that I used for embellishment, to the metallic letters for the word GAMES, I wanted the LO to be evocative of ice and snow. In the actual LO you can't see the background behind the word "ARF". It is printed on a clear label and the background is not visible.

I had fun with this LO though b/c since we are lucky enough to live in the SF Bay area and we DO NOT go to the mountains in the winter, I very seldom get a chance to do snow-themed LOs.

Journaling: By December, Flash's competitive spirit was awaked once again, this time at the ARF Winter Games.

Since there were no agility obstacles there to amuse her that day, Rusty was not nearly as enthusiastic as her little brother at the prospect of participating in silly kids games. Now 3 years old, she was considered a "mature adult dog."
