Hi Shawn8g8 - Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words! Yes, these pages are digital... although I have 10 million physical scrapbook tools and supplies, my two babies keep me busy and keep my desk full of bibs, toys, and pacifiers so it's more convenient to "spread out my stuff" on my computer screen instead. I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 for most things and make some of my own illustrations and elements in Adobe Illustrator because that's what I'm most comfortable with. Many who digi-scrap use Photoshop Elements and it is great for the purpose! If you're interested in finding out more about digital scrapping (I wish someone had told me when I first started looking into it) check out some of the resources on Sweet Shoppe Designs' Tutorials section (http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/tutorials/index.php/2011/12/getting-started-what-is-digiscrapping/). They have amazing digital kits for sale there - I buy almost all my stuff there. Designer Digitals also has a ton of great information, inspiration, and products. I also "pin" a bunch of tutorials, inspiration, etc. on pinterest if you're interested - http://www.pinterest.com/amymarieschneid/
SAT: Not feeling great today. Could hardly keep my eyes open with Evan when he woke for good at 7. Cameron was up at 8:30. Fed and changed both boys then went up at 9 to put Evan down for a nap and then woke Craig up and asked him to watch Cameron for a bit so I could go back to sleep. Came back down at 10:45. Cameron had just gone down for a nap and Evan just woke up so I fed him a bottle. Had a lazy day the rest of the day. Watched “The Illusionist” on TV while Cameron napped. Cameron played quietly with his “people” toys and learned how to make his little horsey go down the ramp. Worked on a new lion logo for a blog I’m planning to start and updated the blog template until almost 2 am! SUN: Craig went to get us Starbucks this morning. I got a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and Cameron loved it. I think he ate half of it. I was shocked!
I worked on my blog logo and header for a bit during nap time to add pictures since I wasn’t happy with just a logo at the top. We went over to Bertucci’s for lunch. Cameron loves watching the fire. He ate really well - pizza and rolls! Evan learned how to “fake cough” for attention and then smiles and laughs when you look at him. We went over to the mall after lunch to get mom a Valentine’s Day gift and to just walk around for a bit. Evan took a nice nap while we strolled. Got Cameron a yogurt from Menchi’s in front of Pottery Barn. Cameron loved the treat and watching the fountain.
i keep trying to capture a video of Evan rocking on his elbows and knees because I know it’s going to be only a SHORT time before he’s off to the races! I think I caught one today.
