This was a gift I made for a Scrapbook.com friend. She already posted it and revealed me, so I figured I would share how I did it.
The shingles were the Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, over and over and also staggered up both sides of the roof. All of the borders were scallop punched. The "grass" is the green paper cut into strips and then fringe cut. Those are glued down and then I put distress stickles over that to give it some bling.
I used glue dots on the roof because I wanted a real shingled look. Anything that's not flat to the surface is glue dotted as well. The body is mod podged (it was easier to attach it that way).
I won't talk about how long it took me to make this, but I will hint that it was longer than I spend on most projects. I was very pleased with the results and may have to make one for myself with the same papers since it matches my kitchen so well!
