I have lots of this (mine is Maiden Grass). It's quite hardy. I bought 2 small pint size plants ($.99 each) and within 4 years or so I have seperated those into 8 big bundels of grass! I still have a few bundels that I will be separating in the spring to go around my pool deck and to finish using as a border for our property. The birds love it in the winter but make a huge mess of it by Spring. Most of the time I cut my back in the Fall! =}
