Thanks for the comment on my layout! Sometimes simple says more:) I love, love, love this layout. I'm a sucker for black and white. Your friends kitty is adorable. I'm so glad he found his way back home.
Okay, I want to go straight home and lift this page! Love every last detail of it... And I'm SO glad Mr. Kitty came home. I hope your friend keeps him inside from now on so he doesn't get hurt again.
Love your lo, and the b&w pps. We had a Mr. Kitty. Actually, that is what my dh named her but her name was Mamma Kitty. She has been missing since Labor Day of last yr, and we really miss her. I just hope where ever she is that she is being treated nicely and is healthy.
OK wait, I posted my comment before reading your entire description! He came home, good!!! His story sounds similar to a cat my mom and I helped an older man search for 2 years ago. His name was Diddle and he was missing for about a month and then just showed back up at the guy's house one day! He was skinny and exhausted, but Diddle is doing great now :-D
I LOVE this! Thanks for the update on this poor baby, so glad to know he found his way home! This is just a stunning LO! The black and white is gorgeous and I love how you used the C in cat and the kitty in the middle of the flower! I think your details are just spectacular!
The more I look at this, the more I love all the AMAZING details!! I know I commented already this a.m. but I was in a hurry, so here I am enjoying it again!!! OMG, this is gorgeous!!
This has gotten me inspired to scrapbook some of my "cats" of years gone by pics. I had some very faithful kitties over the years. It was always distressing if one went missing. I had one taken away and he finally made his way home one month later.
Threw in a kitty LO, huh?! LOL!! Its great looking! And of course, the title, quote...too funny! Like the different fonts you used. But what a sad situation for your friend...I hope he finds his way home soon!!
I hope he has come home by now, too. If she ever gets another cat, please tell her to leave it inside! At one time we had 4 and they never went out and they are just as content to be inside. That way they won't disappear; and there is less chance of them getting sick by something floating around in the air. This is a beautiful lo!
This beautiful guy belongs to my friend Lin. I called to tell her I had finished this LO for her and she got very emotional. She informed me that Mr. Kitty has disappeared and they have searched everywhere for him. He was a wise old cat and didn't appear to be in any physical distress. I hope he comes home soon!
****UPDATE***** GREAT NEWS!! Lin called me just now, noon 1/21/09 to say Mr. Kitty came home!! He is very skinny and was wounded - eye, ear and neck. Wish he could talk! She is taking him to the vet as a I type this. She is sure he will be just fine. Wanted to let everyone know the great news!
This LO is for the January Pick a Quote Challenge hosted by Scrap-Police. I, of course, chose the quote, "In a cat's eyes, all things belong to cats" an English proverb.
