Wow. This is really going to be an awesome album! I love those fleur-de-lis thingies (sorry, technical name escapes me). I love the title and the pocket, and the picture of your friend!
I love this! The flowers and title! Finally I can put a face with "Denise". She is beautiful. The journaling is great and heartfelt. This page is honestly amazing.
I love everything about this! The journaling is awesome. I really like the pp, stamping and the primas. This has such a warm feel to it. I just can't stop looking at it, and I find myself wanting to know more about the story. Super job!!
I FOUGHT with this layout from beginning to end. **rant edited!
Journaling: "She put down her own BDUs and boots to join her husband in Germany. Shorty after arriving, she picked up books and a civilian badge instead. She raised two girls, consoled her stepdaughter in the states, supported her soldier, his soldier, and all the soldiers in Iraq. She wanted to fight next to him. Instead, she supported him from Baumholder, waiting. These are Denise's memories, told in one of the best ways she knows how -- with her camera, mostly the good stuff, a little of the rough stuff, a glimpse at Denise's story. Her story."
Supplies -- Architexture fleur de lis, Prima flowers, MM brads, Nostalgique clip, Rusty Pickle, Diane's Daughters, Flavia papers, Memories ink, cardstock, ephemera.
