The what makes me happy here is not the pennies, but what my dd did with them, I just love the way this child's mind works, she built a penny pyramid, who does that sort of thing? stacks, a wall? I could see but a pyramid?? I asked her what inspired this and she explained that she arranging them in groups of five, four with one on top, then she wondered what would happen if she put the two groups of five together, and this just evolved. I love that she thinks creatively and outside the box, the only downside is a tendancey to move on to the next thing before finishing or cleaning up the current thing..I think she got that from me.
