The thing that I noticed about the composition is that it uses the magic number 3 for circles. In my art classes, we talked about how using three of the same elements (in this case, circles) creates visual interest and balance in a composition. I can see that here. Although you were concerned that it may be "too much," I believe you completely accomplished your goal here. My eye traveled from the first circle down to the one in the lower right-hand corner and then back again to take in all of the supporting detail. Anyway - there is no concept of too much - I think you know when you're done when the fingers stop reaching for the embellishments. You have to exhaust those fingers before you are in danger of "too much!"
You did a beautiful job here! Beautiful photo of you and Mischief and beautifully framed by that black doily and lace! I also love the beautiful bow and flowerwork around the bow!
Love the way that you did your title work! The black doily with the lace trim is beautiful and I love the different borders you used. THe title is also very funny; it's amazing what trouble cats can get into!
I think this looks wonderful! Love all your intricate details, lovely embellies and colours! Love the adorable photo - can't wait to see your next LO about Mischief (he is beautiful).
this is amazing!!!! Love it, wow all the details...the more I look, the more I see! I love all the bling flourishes, and the lace is so pretty around the paper doily, I especially love all the butterflies! Awesome layout...every little detail!
I really think this is an AWESOME lo! I love everything you've done to this and wish I were as creative as you and some others on here! I love your cat, too!
This is my first layout of one of my cats. Mischief is his name and it truely fits him. I will be making another layout that shows just how much trouble this guy gets into. I hope you like my layout, and that its not too much. The doily is a paper one that I painted with Metallic paint. I then glued lace that matchs my shirt, onto the back of the doily. My little bouquet of flowers has all the colors in it that are somewhere on the pp. There are 3 layers of pp to acheive the border look. (although you can't see it that much) Thanks so much for looking, I hope this isn't TOO MUCH and does look ok to other. Let me know what you think. I'm always unsure after I make a layout if it's good or not. I hope you think it is. Thanks for taking the time to check out my layout.
