What precious words you have on this layout! I felt the same way when we adopted our first son...and the whole experience (not the paperwork or the intrusion on our lives) with our first son, made us want to adopt 3 times for a total of six children. Our family is complete...so far. Praise be to our God. God Bless your family.
CONGRATS!! My son was born from my heart but not of my body. He is my love, my life! They are ours from the moment their cells combine, but it sure is nice to make it official!!
The title stickers were given to us by a case worker who processed our adoption. The butterflies naturally symbolize change and/or a new life. I made them myself. And the many circles on the layout represent union. This layout features our last child's adoption story. journaling says it all: Who could have known what God would do? The call came on Dec 16th as we were out shopping. We were so blown away. Didn't even have a valid foster license anymore. But we wanted you immediately and thus packed a bag and made the six hour drive to Ohio to pick you up that night. There were so many obstacles (tedious legal details) due to the adoption being interstate and Indiana not knowing how to proceed. Workers few in every month from Ohio. Paperwork seemed endless as did the inevitable next hoop we had to jump through. But dear son, you were worth every single moment of it. We all love you with all our hearts and you are totally and completely a "God thing" in our lives. On March 7, 2008, just before a serious lake effect blizzard hit, we finalized your adoption and received the satisfaction of the law recognizing what had been in our hearts since day one.
