I love how the page has such a vintage look to it! I can only imagine how frustrating the journalling must have been to try to arrange the space for the title/embellie. It looks fabulous!!
I clicked on it to read your jouraling. What a wonderful and beautiful story. I have my Mom's old plastic light up star on the top of my tree evey year. I remember it from my entire child hood. it too is out of date but once again popular due to the retro craze. Your LO is just beautiful and full of amazing details!!!
If you click on the image, a larger version pops up so the journaling can be read. I Loved your story and I'm so happy that Rudolph was passed on to you! He has the sweetest expression on his face, like he's bewildered by this blinking red nose! Great job on the "no people/pets" challenge!
This is my submission for Estee's week-long challenge to scrap something other than a person or pet. I chose a family heirloom.
The journaling is pretty long, so I won't type it all out here, but when I get it on my blog, I'll put it there if you are interested in reading it. http://scrapashopaholic.blogspot.com/
Paper is MME Signature Christmas & BG Wasail Christmas. I made the black bling myself and you can find some like it for sale in my etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/scrapashopaholic. The journaling I did in Microsoft Word and it took me over 2 hours! I don't know if I was doing it stupidly or what but it was a pain! I really like how it turned out though. The Rudolph tag is chipboard with red velvet glimmer mist on it. The title letters is stickers cover with MS glitter, then I covered the whole thing with glossy accents. The punch is by EK Success Decorative Scallop. The bottom gold flower used to be yellow, I painted it metallic gold and sprinkled MS glitter over it. This LO was a pain in the rear...but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! LOL
