My dd took rifle in HS for the very first time! She felt like a super woman. Glad your hubby stressed the safety rules! This was a great moment to scrap! AWESOME job!
How fun! I got to shoot a big gun last yr. on Jane Wayne day @ dh work. and it was real fun but I had to get on my stomach to shoot *=] I did a lo on it, its in my galery somewhere. *=)
Whoa - this is so far removed from anything you would EVER see in the UK that I cannot quite get my head round it! But I guess its a bit of a rite of passage for you guys!
Ha ha ha....REALLY cool title!! I'm amazed by these photos....never seen a gun like that before, only have rifles in Canada for hunting. Wow! Wasn't your dd freaked out??? I would be!!! What's really wonderful is that your dd helped you make this page, too!
I love the photo placement and embellies on this fabulous design! She looks like a natural! My oldest son is really into this now. Thank you for your congratulations. It means a lot to me that you took the time. Your thoughtfulness means a lot to me.
This is awesome!!! She kicks total butt! LOL You can tell she was having a really good time. I love your design. The masculine embellies work perfecty!
What a NEAT, NEAT subject to scrapbook, Shawn!!! LOVE YOUR "Do Not Try This at Home" disclaimer!!! And, I KNOW that she IS a Daddy's Girl....and a Momma's Girl, too! How cool that Ryan found and printed the striped paper that you used!!! GREAT LO!!!
What a fun page, Shawn! My first question was, Where is mama??? Your dd is brave and I'm sure she made her daddy proud! Love the series of photos and seeing that protective gear on her. Daddy did good, too. Believe me, I won't be trying this at home!!
Daddy took daughter to the range to learn how to shoot~ She wore 2 kinds of protective hearing (plugs and head gear), as well as goggles. DH has been shooting for over 30 yrs, so he taught her all the safety rules!
I used: Cosmo Cricket Lena & Hans Bazzill black & red cardstock T.Holtz gears Creative Imaginations Caution Girl sticker~ chain Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend Borders~ title strip I stamped "Daddy's Girl" on the journaling block the SHOOT PRADO is my dd's wrist band from the range
My dd printed a blue coordinating page for me by finding a photo of the C.Cricket striped 12x12 online, sampling it with the 'eye dropper' in Photoshop, then printing out a 8x11 for me so I could make the journaling tag. Sorry for the sun glare on the left side of the page. TFL~
