SHCG - Gaah, she did a fantabulous job! I LOVE all the shapes, the pp, the jaunty placement of this all, as if all of this was being propelled by magic into the trunk for a surfin safari idyllic getaway! And the vision of you helping her with this after a tough week really makes me smile. Lovely & fun. Yay!
Before her departure to Okinawa for her sister's wedding, my friend came over seeking my advice on crafting a card for the happy occasion. She told me the bride and groom were going to have an island theme and love watersports and spending lots of time on the beach. I showed her my Life's a Beach Cricut cart and she picked the treasure chest, bikini, and board shorts. I cut them for her and let her have a go at my stash. She kept commenting on the amount of stuff that I had, but she quickly realized that it meant she had a bounty of choices that would satisfy her particular obsessions while making this card. I laughed as she picked the right kind of brown, as the beads had to be placed just so, the polka dot-bikini had to be the perfect shade of red, and on and on... Of course, one more flower was needed in the end and then she just had to choose her signature stamp to seal the deal. It was a rough Wednesday in my work week, but watching her and coaching her was just what I needed to help me go to sleep that night. On a side note, I finally tore the packaging off the rope border punch I'd been admiring in Lisa's (Gelidy Gelato) latest pieces.
